Repentance - Breaking the Habit of Sin

The Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alayhi wasallam said “All the children of Adam are sinners and the best sinners are those who repent”

AssalamuAlaykum friends

I just finished reading the book “Repentance” by Shaykh Omar Suleiman. I may have already had the book in my possession a month or so however prior to this crisis that we are currently in, I never had the time (my lame excuse) to pick up the book and read it. .
“No one is free from the need to repent. Even if you do not see it, you are still sinning someway” .
“There are two types of repentance. Even if it’s not sin, I am failing to give Allah His full right upon me. Therefore, there is the repentance for sin and there is the repentance for not doing enough - which is deficiency with Allah”
.
Alhamdulillah I personally find this book to be very beneficial for me in my quest to build a better relationship with my Lord. It lists down the reasons why we should repent and also the practical steps to do so.

May Allah keep us and our loved ones safe, heal those who are sick among us and allow us to reach the beautiful month of Ramadan.. ameen
